Just installed my dejon uicp last night, went in not to bad...tonight thought it would be a good idea to do a leak test to check it....leaks like crazy around bov flange..... changed gasket twice and even tryed some silicone but still leaks....i can grab the bov and try to twist it while under pressure and i can change the leak...grrrr...anyone else had this problem???? are they crap or what?? and why is the flange half the thickness of the stock one.....????? do i need to take it off and plane it down flat or what.?? or should i throw it threw their window??? help!!

It's possible that the flange got warped enough to cause a leak while they were welding it up for you. I would call Dejon Tool directly and talk with them and explain the situation, I'm sure they will take care of it for you. In the mean time you could slap some rtv on both sides of the gasket to help it seal a little better.

mine leaked in the same place. I put some rtv on both sides of the gasket for now. I'm going to grind down the paint/powdercoat or whatever it is on the IC pipe to try to get a better seal

If you have any issues just call dave and let him know the situation. He may have an easy remedy for it.

I have tryed everything...new gasket...silicone and still leaks....i got real mad and planed down the flange to flaten it....did seal better but still leaks....i got pissed of and took it back off....i am goin to take the stock flange off and weld it to it....it is atleast twice as thick as this pisa....that will work...i didnt want to have to do it but i need this to work....and knowone likes boost leaks, grrrr.....will advise how it goes....thanx
