K&N intake kit

I am considering getting the kit that includes the adapter and filter for around $130 or whatever, but the thing is I have a 92 turbo and the kit is only available for non-turbos for the 1G. I read somewhere that you can modify it to fit the turbo, but have no idea how hard this would be to do. If anyone knows if this is true or not or how hard it would be to do, please let me know. Also let me know if anyone knows a good place to get one. I went down to Summit to get one here in Reno but they were out of stock. Thanks

isnt it like 35.00 bucks or something for the adapter and filter from procarparts? I looked and didnt see anything

yeah lucky 2gers i guess they dont make one for the 1g.

just buy the replacement K&N filter for $35, and clamp it directly to your mas housing. Leave the huge cover off and run it open element. It seals fine and BAM, $35 open element intake. It's what all the 1g guys do. Look in my gallery at my engine (old pic yea yea) but it shows the open filter just chillin there.
