One hose comes from the charcoal canister and the other hose comes from your valve cover. If these hoses are not connected to the stock rubber intake right now, I assume that they are just venting to atm? You don't need to hook them up but you will have to plug the tubes on the intake. I would hook them up but that's me.

They are/were hooked up to the stock intake piping. the car doesn't get driven that much right now so i just figured i would start putting the new intake on. so i haven't run the car without this yet im just checking before i put this intake pipe on and don't have anyway to connect them.

if they dont get hooked up or at least the one to the valve cover i am sure that oil will go into the intake pipe and intercooler

1. If you dont hook up the carcoal cansister line it will throw a code.

2. You can run without the V/C line and just put a filter on the nipple but........by pulling air out of the V/C AKA the crankcase you are putting negative pressure on your piston rings thus creating a better seal. I put a small fuel filter from pepboys on this line to prevent the oil from making it to the intake, but do whatcha like :p
