Ok not sure if this is the right thread cause there is no problem thread anymore. I am getting this code from my logger p0141 bank1 sensor 2. Is that the rear 02 ??? the program i am having when i first start car it runs rich as hell , sputtering and all that. Seems like after warm up its starts running ok. The rear 02 is hooked up but not in the pipe its tied up under car.

Also
If i need a new 02 where do you guys buy them from ?

i just got a p0136 which palm software says its a 02 sensor malfunction bank1 sensor 2
but when i looked it up on here it says

"P0136..... Downstream heated O2 sensor fault (Bank 1)'

also got a p1400

Hi,

P0136 means O2 sensor circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 2 (that's the last sensor, rear), check harness and connectors

P0141 means O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 2, check harness and connectors

P1400 means manifold differential pressure (MDP) sensor circuit malfunction, check harness and connector or test MDP

I would check your connector of your O2 sensor, make sure it's plugged in and no wires are cut. I also would re-instal your sensor in the exhaust pipe. You want to have it read the O2 gasses. I run a straight pipe without a cat and no problems. And for the sputtering, that might be the MDP sensor. That sensor measures the negative pressure in the manifold and it's temperature sensitive.
If you have any more codes or problems let me know, I have alldata online. And I can sent you problem diagnostic charts.

Hi,

P0125 means excessive time to enter closed loop (loop fuel control), check O2 sensors and their connectors and harnesses.
Probable cause:
- heated O2 sensor failure
- injector failure
- incorrect fuel pressure
- ECU failure

Diagnostic chart:
1) Check O2 sensor good go to 2, not good replace/fix
2) Check the connectors A-94 and B-56 good go to 3, not good replace/fix
3) Check wiring between ECU and O2 sensor good go to 4, not good replace/fix
4) check injectors, good go to 5, not good replace/fix
5) check connectors A-50, A-56, A-61, A-93, B-53 good go to 6, not good replace/fix
6) check wiring between injectors and ECU, good go to 7, not good replace/fix
7) Check fuel pressure, good go to 8, not good adjust
8) Check ECU, not good replace

I hope this will help. Let me know if you need something else.

I just hooked a scan tool to my 98 gst with a 6 bolt swap and found that it says my 02 sensor is bad. It is brand new though. Its is also plugged in. Anyone ever have this problem? My a/f ration is rich as hell at idle. like 11:2:1

Recently got the same error, changed out the first o2 sensor, no CEL for about a half hour, then it returned, girl at autozone said it was o2 related so I'm assuming it's the rear.

Hi,

What kind of scan tool did you use? It might read too lean of a condition and that might be said it's bad. Not the sensor itself. Make sure you have the right O2 sensors. When I had to order mine, there were multiple options (part numbers) for the O2 sensors. For your rich condition check your A/F settings at idle. You might have to adjust it (take away some fuel) through your DSM link or S-AFC, what ever you use as a tuning device.

Hi,

MaNGiNa24, what code did you get? Without more information, it could be anything causing it. Let me know what code and I could look it up for you.
And all respect to the people of autozone, but how can they figure out what the problem is, without first of all scanning the system with a scan tool and then following the diagnostic charts to eliminate the problem.
