I Got this manual boost controller from www.boostvalve.com im haveing problem fineing the right boost i went for 3 test drives already and almost crap myself i hit 20 and let off and reset it and i hit that again ??? anyone have this valve and how many threds are showing before the lock nut ??? anyone that could help me please do....thanks OMG

NEVER MIND =0) got that thing working right was scareing the crap out of me ......

it's hard to adjust if the spring is too strong. Mine was that way too, it was like 1/256th of a turn = 2 psi. Friggin hard to set! Softer spring and all is golden :)

best of luck.

BTW, how is that controller besides the hard ass spring?? I looked at his before makin mine.

im still trying to get it to work i had to drive home and played the game "no Boost" but the more i try to addjust this thing the more i keep thinking i should put it back to stock and get me a damm eletrical one and have it in the drivers compartment .....i guess ill try somemore before i go to work.

its ok the spring just a pain to set the directions suck

am i adjusting this thing wrong ??? i just about got it all the way tightened down, how do you people have your manual boost contorler set ?

i'ts looser for less boost, tighter for more. Usually it doesn't take much tightening to make extra boost.

If yours is not boosting at all something is wrong.

Leaks in the intake piping (turbo to throttle body), or turbo is shot.

even if you take the adjusting bolt right out, you still should have 12 psi or so.

i got it working kind of just at 10psi i will have to mess with it more just to get it to 17psi

i thought i had it set right then i got on it tonight #@%#@%#@%#@% hit like 22 psi Dammit im ready to give up on this damm thing. ive shorten the hose the the wastegate thought it was that but i'll have to keep messing with it damm why couldnt it be easyer
