well, you'll have to enlarge the headstud holes to fit on a 1g.. & your 1g intake wont be port matched to your 2g head...

i can understand that i jsut heard from a few guys that a 2g head flows more than a 1g is all but thanks

Stock for stock the 1g flows a lot more air, and the 2g flows coolant a lot better. RRE says you can do just as much with a well ported 2g than with a 1g. They were also refering to people that wanna do a swap, but I will be overhauling a 2g head when i do my 6 bolt swap.

A 2G head will provide better torque and be ALOT easier to use with a swapped shortblock. You probably won't ever reach the head's limit, especially with a nice SMIM. Use a roughngrit paper rol to clean up the castings on the intake and go from paper roll to emory pad to polish the exhaust.
