sleeper spyder?

hey guys, just wanted to post up what im having done to my car for now and see what you guys think. 97 spyder, putting on ported 14b, 3inch electric cutout dumpin by front left tire area, supra sidemount, 255lph(rewired), ported 3inch gm maft, underdrive pulley, hks ssqv, maybe boost at 17-18 lbs. most of this stuff i have on already except the turbo, intercooler and exhaust. i live in mid georgia and its full of ricers, but rich ricers.. like one guy with a silver wrx sti with redish pink street glow, full of stickers, loud blow valve that he blows off to everyone. well im looking to put this stuff on and pull him from a roll. i think its possible, but we'll see. i just want to beat him with these basic parts. (t04e, 660cc-770cc injectors, 1g tb and few basic parts by summer time) and i know alot of the rich ricers wont touch me. what you think i could push powerwise, with my simple set up...(14b,smic, qtec) ???

I think with a spyder you are going to need a slighty bigger turbo to beat that sti, if he has anything done you might have trouble, but sounds like you'll stomp the usual 'ricer' crowd, gl hf, can I ask where you are getting the cut out from, im looking into that myself

You're going to be running a re-wired 255 and you didn't even mention an AFPR...Also, you are FWD and slightly heavier than most DSM's b/c you're a spyder so you might as well start with a big turbo

i did not mention an afpr because i dont have one. i know i know, im gonna hear alot of crap for that but i put it in anyway. it does idle alittle rough, but it doesnt die out or anything. but i will be purchasing an afpr real soon. i mention putting on the 14b cause its just gonna go on temporarily since i have 2 of them. i hate the weakness of the t-25 and heard many good things about the 14b. but this is only temporarily! summer time ill have alot more money saved for serious performance

i bought the cut out from quicktimeperformance.com. althought i havent put it on yet, i hear many good things about it. i bought it for the reason that i can retain my stock muffler (sleeperness ) and it will be quiet or loud on my command. my friend (machinist) is gonna weld in the cut out for me and im having pipes bent so it can cut a hole in front of left tire or behind and let it dump there.... i think that would be pretty cool. and a stainless plate on body around the hole..

Sorry missed the from a roll part (fwd) I would just wait and go with a bigger turbo considering you don't have the turbo, intercooler, or exhaust yet. You could still be a sleeper with a larger turbo
