I heard that a crank shaft can be takin form a 2.4 Elantra and can be used in a 2g block, with proper rods and pistons, u can custom make your own stroker kit basically. Now how much of this is true, and how much of it made me look like a real moron. I'm asking cause I wanna stroke my motor, but I wanna do it part by part, rather then buying a complete kit. Why, you ask? No freakin idea. But lemme know if this can be done, and if it'll work. Thanx :dsm:

You can use a 4g64 block to make a 2.4 stroker. Or just a 4g64 crank I believe and make a 2.3 stroker. I don't know what comes in an Elantra as far as an engine tho.

if I wanted the block, will it fit it with no problems, and will it match up with the head exactly? Any ideas?
