I just put in my new slowboy racing manuel boost controller and boost gauge. I took it out for a test drive to dial in the boost. It peaked at 22psi till it hit fuel cut. So I pulled over and losened the nut even more. I did another pull in 3rd and it hit 22psi again. So I turned the bolt in. It hit 22psi. I have everything hooked up right. Has anyone else have this problem? I was wondering if it could be a defective boost controller?

Thanks :talon:

it shuld just be connected between your wastgate actuator and your tap on your turbo I dont see why it would not work if you have it set up that way... unless you have the lines going to the boost controller in the wrong way... which I have seen that problem with before.

My friend has the same car and it is hooked up the same way and he doesn't have any problems. He is running about 15psi. That is why I wondered if it was the boost controller.

Be absolutely sure that one end is sent to the wastegate actuator and the other end is tee'd into the blow off valve hose. And loosen the nut all the way out before you take it out again. Then go from there.

run some air through the controller. See which end allows more air to go through. If it is ball and spring you will basicly have no boost control if it's hooked up backwards. If it's a bleeder valve you will have some but not all that much.
