q's on uicp

im doing a 6 bolt swap in my 98 gst, and im wondering if the hard uicp kit for a 1st gen will still work on my 98 gst, i think they bend slightly diffrent, but im not shure.

one other quick thing, im really on a budget for this upgrade { motor swap etc.} can i make uicp with the same material as im making the licp as, { im using the tech artical as a guide on how to make your own 308$ intercooler} and just weld on a flange for the greddy type s? im kinda on a budget and i want to do as much work as i can myself to save $$. my plan is either to weld on the flange, or by a piece of pipe with it already welded on, buy alot of exh tubing and bend it myself in my bender, buy silicone and cut it myself etc etc.
