On the passenger side, right in front of the wheel. Look through the opening in the bumper directly under the headlight and you'll see it.

I'm so glad this found its way into the "advanced 4g63t" section.

Actually you wont see it, there is a splash guard in front of it and behind it. once you remove these then you will see it.

If you look through the opening of the front bumper, the fins of the core will be right there. What splash guard do you have on your car that was infront of the intercooler?

If the car is stock there is a splash guard with slots in it allowing air to flow through it. I know this because a friend had a bone stock 2g that had them on there.

Infront? I have yet to see that. My DSM came bone stock and didn't have anything like that. Hunt for a picture.

Anyone know of the part he's talking about?

Intercooler Air Flow Improvements
You can access the intercooler from the passenger side wheel well. You'll notice vents in the splash shield for the intercooler. There's two things that can be done - make the vents larger, or simply cut out a square and bolt up some screen material to allow more air to pass through. It would be a good idea to clean out the intercooler at this point also.

there is none in front tho

I will get you a picture of what i'm talking about as soon as i can. It will be a week or so because my friend is away at college right now and his car is in storage.

My car had an ABS plastic duct in the front like he's talking about, from the front bumper to the stock IC.
thats a duct not a vent cover type thing that he is talikg about

The 2g's do come stock with a duct that directs air directly onto the IC but there are no vents or anything infront of the IC. If you look straight in you can direct see the IC.

I stand corrected. There is not a vent there is a duct. My appologies towards all.

I think the intercooler has been located. Thank you. Please post in appropriate forums, this is not engine performance.
