Internals?

What up, I have a 92 tsi awd w/big16g ported and clipped,evo housing, buschur 2.5 downpipe, k&n filter, ported head and manilfod. And, I was just wondering what i should do to beef up my engine so i can get about 18psi or so.It runs fine right now at 12psi. I want to rebuild it to make a mean road race,autocross, and drag car. i want to improve on the quickness of the vehicle to produce lot of low end power. Specific parts will help tremendously. Also do you guys know who makes an intake pipe to put it down in the bumper for a 1g, or just some one who makes a loud ass pipe. What about a bov, how much power do you need to put a vent to atmosphere turbo xs bov on, and is what i have enough. Thanks

First off, your sreen name 'blingindubs' says it all. Second, if you have all that work done to your car already, then SURELY you would know that your bottom end will handle everything you throw at it from a 16G. Your next logical step shouldn't be a bLiNgIn LoUd AsS bOv Yo, it should be a front mount intercooler. You also didn't mention anything about fuel upgrades, so you may want to look into those as well. I personally think you have a stock car, and heard about some upgrades, and said you had them to see if people would respond with things like 'yO yOuR cAr SoUnDs MaD tIgHt Yo! AlLs YoU nEeDs NoW iS a LoUd AsS pIpE yO!'

Yes they do. And you seem to have skipped from the beginning to the middle. Go back to the beginning and figure out how much the stock block can handle (Hint: It's a hell of a lot more than 18psi on a 16G). Then figure out if you are asking how a built block will affect it or are you asking if you need a built block.

And furthermore yours is probably rusting and has about 200,oooo frickin miles on it. And dude as far as the nos get over it is old. hey trevenor i want to know how much my stock internals can handle and if i need to build it up. Because I want to start getting some more low end power. And what fuel mods do i need. Is an intercooler really important enough to spend the money for the fmic.

1) Speak and type English, not Engrish.
2) If you want help, ask for it. When you do, expect all kinds of answers, including the ones you got. If you don't like it, too bad.

And I already told you. Read. Your stock block, if well maintained can hold in excess of 400 crank hp. And I doubt you will ever get there period much less on 18psi on a 16G. If you want more low end power, install a 14b or increase your compression ratio.

As far as the rest of your questions, why don't you look for yourself. We aren't here trying to hide the info from you. Want us to install them for you too?

I can see how noslaser is getting upset from you, blingindubs. I really haven't had any confrontation with the guy on tuners or talk or wherever we post, but from what I remember reading of his, he is experienced and actually quite a funny guy (I still laugh at the 8 second DSMer whose broke and can't remove ps or ac post.)

You basically come in as a newbie, or just make yourself seem to be one, no offence, and say you want a 'loud ass bov.' The BOV questions are more damn frequent around here then the 3 meals in a day. No, you are obviously into upgrading the turbo and motor internals while you still have STOCK EXHAUST AND FUEL DELIVERY. This is just a subtle hint; people don't get exhaust because it's 'a loud ass pipe yo' they get it because it's an integral part of extracting the most power reliably from a turbocharged vehicle. Take some of your internet thugging time and do some research before you make yourelf look dumber.

I have been a member for about a month now and i have posted a few threads and I have been really respectful and I have received a great amount of helpful information. This site was created to help other DSM's out and I have found a great wealth of knowledge and helpfulness here. So blingindubs the way you started off you’re not going to gain any knowledge here. hey now on the age thing, i just turned 16 and am trying my hardest to do as much as i can to my car, and if u want a LOUD BOV, i have a RFL from turbo xs for sale because i put my STOCK 1g back on for PERFORMANCE reasons
