Engine Sputter

As my rpm's go up at WOT my engine seems to sputter. I changed to the best plugs you can buy (denso iridiums) and 8mm accel wires. It still does it. Could it be fuel cut? I don't know what that would feel like. Also could my turbo be going to crap?

i have the exact same problem right now dude, but i think my problem is my ecu.

U'll know if u hit fuel cut, the motor just completely shuts off for a split second and it will jerk u back and forth and u'll just notice it trust me. As one member referred to it "you will be picking teeth out of your steering wheel" haha i kinda like that.

Answer me a question though, does ur turbo spool up all the way perfectly fine, and then right when u get into ur top end rpms will full boost does it start to sputter and feel like u have no power? If so thats the exact problem i have and i'm trying to figure out what it is.

That's a good sign that you're running rich. I'd buy/borrow a logger to see what's happening...

I fixed this problem today actually. WOT was about 10% rich, completly robbing power. idle/mid were about 5% off which was enough to give me some sputtering here and there. Just something to think about...

Yea my turbo spools and right maybe 60 percent spool up starts sputtering. So you think if i buy DSMlink i should be able to tune this out? I have the money i just need to find a 95 ecu.

I am going with this. My car was running rich, and up top it was horrible, my festiva was pulling almost as hard. Tune it out.

Oh yeah, DSMLink can make your car run better than stock. That's one of the best thing you can get for a daily driver.

Dirty Injectors

Yes i put some lucus injector cleaner in and it is running perfect. It really feels like i have 250 horse power under my foot now. I canceled DSMlink. I am now buying SBR ex. mani and 2.5 inch O2 with dump. Also buying gauges (boost and EGT) and a MBC and TT. That is all my money for now.
