How much boost were you running? What gas?

Im assuming you were on race gas going by how your A/F ratio was mid 12's and touching 13's.

Anyways, congratulations! Thats some very impressive numbers man. :thumb:

It was on 31 psi, with a 50/50 mix of 93 unleaded and 110 leaded.
And water injection. We tried to go for more but it would not boost any higher.
I'm going to check for any boost leaks, or possibly a boost controler issue.
but i'm deffinetly going for more.

The a/f mixture was so lean because I installed a FRH intake manifold two
days before the dyno. So I only has about 20 miles of tunning on the new
manifold. Which was the trip to the dyno.

485 hp now do you guys think 500 is possible if I resolve the boost issue?

Does any one know what's the most hp that someone pulled out of a stock
bottom?

Oh man, i didnt know you were on the stock bottem end. Thats awesome! And your pushing your limits right now. You should have no problem getting 500 whp with more tuning. Congrats on the stock bottem end as well.

Thats just insane! I'd be very careful about watching out for sudden lean conditions...at those power levels a stock block might not like what happens if it gets some bad gas =) Nice job dude :thumb:

Well I got all the part I need to make a leak tester. Now I just need to motivate
myself to go and figure out what the problem is with my boost problem.
And from now on I think race gas only.

ha , I saw that dyno in person, it was loud as phuck and awesome, you're the dude that won ams king of the dyno! arent you?

Why is it that every dyno sheet I've seen for the 46G3 has a horrible torque curve. No matter how much power is made the torque curve falls quite dramatically from 6000 rpm til redline. I would imagine that a torque curve for a forced induction motor should be flatter than Montana.

Yeah that was me, you don't have it on video by any chance?
Everyone makes fun of my exhaust because its to huge. But
it sounds awsome.

I'm pretty sure that it was the loudest one out of all the cars there.

I dunno, I think mine is pretty loud too ;) , Im the dude that asked you what that tank that was in place of your battery inside your engine bay was, if you put that car together yourself, which I think you did, I give you mad props :thumb: Thats a lot of power to make on a stock bottom end. Sorry I dont have it on video.

Well I found two boost leaks today. One at the throttle body shaft and the
other at the blowoff valve. Both started to leak at about 15 psi.
Does anyone know if you can buy a rebuild kit for the TB of do you
have to get all the part separately?

mach 5 motorsport sells a rebuild kit for the 2g throttle bodys

Cyclone,
I was working the dyno day that day and saw the car run. What turbo are you running, what boost was that first run on, and that 11.8 at 119, was that before or after the dyno event?

You don't need much torque at those RPM's anyways...

The turbo is a 60 trim, the boost was at 30 psi I think. Because my gauge is of by
two lbs, even with the engine off the gauge shows 2-3 psi instead of 0 psi.
the 11.8 run was earlier this year at 27 psi with the factory intake manifold still
on the car.

i thought i would add my 2 cents. it is possible that your boost guage is accurate. "0" on the boost guage is calibrated for 14.7~ psi(dont remember exact #) the standard atmospheric day. howerever i have rarely seen a standard day so its possible that on that day the barametric pressure was 2 psi over 14.7~.well thats my 2cents
