Can some body explain/provide a link that explains the differences mechanically, between the 2.3 stroker and the 2.4? The reasons why you would use one over the other, price diffeerences, reliability, advantages/disadvantages, and this types of things. Thanks alot,

Chris.

first of all, this info is found all over any dsm related forum, including this one.

The difference is a 2.4 has a 6mm taller deckheight.

A 2.3 is just a 2.0 block using a 2.4 crank, but it requires that the wrist pin be moved by 6mm, otherwise the piston would poke out of the block and smack into the head/valves.
