Hey, i have a 1992 laser turbo and its all stock. I eventually want to raise the boost some but my dad says that anytime u raise a boost its gonna create more of a hassle with an older engine. I told him i can get boost control and stuff. But what do you guys recomend to get my car ready to raise some boost?? I want to at least raise it to 16-17lbs. of boost. Its like 11 stock.

Make sure the car is mechanically sound. After that you could raise the boost alittle.
" Tune-up, check and replace all fluids/belts/hoses as needed"

Boost gauge.
Fuelpump.
Manual boost controller.

Those are what I would get, If my car were stock and wanted to raise the boost a few psi. I would also look into getting an exhaust.

There is a tuning guide on the site which could be seen if you click on the link below:

This is the 1g Power Mods list in our forums, it's on top, just above the red line, novelly named "Tuning Guide"..... 1g Power Mods....

Fuel Pump Re-Wire, this is a must if you turn your boost up above 15psi....

As soon as you get a boost gauge, look into making your own boost leak tester.
There's no point in turning up the boost if it is just going to leak out everywhere.
Plus, a boost leak will overwork your turbo and mess with your air/fuel ratio. Very easy to do and a good prevention step.

^^^^ Indeed, great thinking, might as well, check all of that out now....
Being that it's so old, I can guarantee his injector seals are no longer rubber....
