When using the TMO chip , what does it do to hold stutter on the stutter box,(hold an rpm) does it stop ignition or stop fuel from the injectores

All it does is just drop down a rev limiter down to your selected rpm and you rev to the rpm putting a load on the motor therefore building boost. IT does the same thing if you just lay into the gas peddle while in nuetral bouncing off the rev limiter from the factory.

my question is what holding it at that rpm. Is it lack of ignition or lack of fuel that makes th rev limiter, limit

oo ok so when you cut the fuel doesnt that tend to make lean conditions? I just want to know how this works

Actually the ecu checks to see if your car is moving if it is not then it does the stutterbox at whatever rpm tmo set it for you. Basically the ecu bounces back and forth between an empty area of the ecu and the movement check as does your rpm. Lean? Not enough to do damage.

The ECU does not bounce "between an empty area of the ecu and the movement check." I don't even know what that is supposed to mean.

It cuts fuel and spark to the best of my knowledge.

For a simple stutterbox, you can use the following code. This code will jump from the stock rev limiter to an unused part of the chip, where it will then check to see if the car is moving. If the car is stopped, you get a stutterbox, and if the car is moving then you get the regular rev limiter. This means you do not need a clutch switch.
