I know there is manual and electronic controllers. I've tried to do a little reading and i know that a lot of electronic ones seem to have a problem w/ keeping the correct boost level w/out speaking, or maybe i'm mistaken. I only really ever plan to run about 18 pounds of boost and i'm keeping my 14b which i'll probably have ported and polished. Would i be better off w/ a manual or an electronic controller? What type of controller and what brand of controller do some of you people out there use who run 1/4 miles times around the 12 range? All info is appreciated. Thanks.

Well actually I heard EBC's hold boost better and stop spiking since they use a soleniod instead of a ball and spring. Both of them work fine it's all about your personal tastes and budget. I have a MBC now but I'm ordering and EBC tomorrow becasue I finally have the cash and want to be able to control boost from inside the car.

I have heard (this is text experience not actual hands on) that the Profec B is the best EBC that doesn't spike...on the MBC there are a lot ot choose from and some spike while others may not. I have seen that people are very satisfied with the Joe P, Turbo XS and a few others. Your chioce cause its yer wallet.....
