Okay, here's the story:
1.)Engine broke, and I had a '90 6-bolt engine swaped into my '93 Talon TSi AWD
2.)Got the car from the shop, and when I started it, the idle would bounce from 500 to 1000 until the car warmed up. (Like a min. or so)
3.)Took the car back to the shop, and he's swaped the ISC controller with no luck, and now he's going to try a new ECU.
-Does anyone know what the problem is? (Is there a difference from my 1993 ECU w/ the 1990 Engine?)
-Should I get an aftermarket ECU, like the Technomotive one listed in the performance guide section? (Will this effect my smog in any way? / What gains/drawbacks can I expect from the Technomotive ECU?)
