Wrong Muffler?

I have an APC Oval Duel Tipped Muffler on my laser, and i do achieve a much louder tone, but it doesnt sound the way i want it.


When i drive or rev, my car emits the sound of a corvette or a mustang, kinda of an American car tone. I really want my car to have that import sound, that the cars (i'm sorry for saying it) in the Fast and the Furious have.

Do I have the wrong muffler? Or do lasers just make a funny exhaust noise? If its the muffler, can someone point me towards the brand name of a muffler that will give me the sound i want? Maybe a website? Thx in advance.

is yer car turbo?? turbo cars have a deeper exhasut tone, non turbos do not..

Nope, it is the non-turbo. I think it may be the muffler, does anyone else have the tone i'm talking about? What kind of muffler do you have?

well I dnt have just a muffler.. i ahve a turbo back exhaust.. but the diff between the sound of a turbo and non turbo is like night and day..
