is the 1st gen intake manifold just a bolt on? for 2gen cars? would it be better to get the cyclone one?

It will bolt on, however it won't give you any gains because the inlets for the runners on the 2g head are very small so you'll actually disrupt flow with a bigger manifold. Also your upper intercooler pipes will be off by a little bit because of the way the 1g mani and tb are setup.

alright, but what about the throttle body, i've noticed that the 2g (mine) is pretty small, is it possible to switch to a 1st gen or does that not provide any gains as well?

yes the 1g tb is an improvement over the 2g the 1g is a 60mm and the 2g is a 52mm. If you dont switch manifolds it would still be a good idea to go with the 1g tb.

I saw no difference when I changed my setup from 52mm to 60mm I think the whole swap is a waste of time. The 2G setup is made for lowend torque and thats what most people want unless your are drag racing and looking to shave time off your numbers. Personally if I could do it over again I would have kept my 2nd Gen head and extrude honed intake manifold it had better punch on the low end than the 1G head ported out with the 1G intake manifold. Bigger is not always better.
