I currently have a 1992 eagle talon n/t with a conversion to turbo. The turbo conversion was taken from a 1991 laser. Anyway, the talon will no longer hold oil pressure and is in need of a rebuild. My question is for a goal of roughly 275-300 hp what pistons should I put back in the motor? I want the motor to be fairly reliable since this will be a dd. I have a ported 14b and dont plan on buying another turbo. Will n/t 9:1 pistons be able to attain this goal, or should I just buy a turbo motor rebuild and use 8:1 compression?

i'd say it would be more reliable with stock pistons and rods and for that hp goal forged pistons and rods would be way overkill. stock turbo pistons i meant.
