Raleigh,
I recently bought a Greddy Type S BOV and one of the components it came with was a triangle connector with three holes. I have seen it in pics before but could not tell where the hoses connected to it go or what its purpose is. SO that is bascially the question. What does this piece connect and what for? Just curious if it is something i should look to use or not. Thanks!

I recently installed a Type-S and I don't even use the 3-way. It is not important to connect that small nipple to something. I think it can go to the wastegate line, but I'm not to sure, so i leave it open. I am very happy with it.

Are you talking about the vacuum T fitting? Thats just so you can cut a vacuum line and hook up the blow off valve to an existing vacuum source on a car that doens't have a blow off valve already.

You connect the top nipple to your existing vacume line from your old bov and leave the bottom one open.

From what i heard, you can use a much harder setting when the third nipple is used. Something about rerouting it back into the uicp or using a T-connector to connect it to the boost source

Out of curiosity, what are the other nipples for on the Greddy Type S BOV? I've always wondered about them.

the third lower nipple is an additional vacuum which can be used to assist in opening the valve which eliminates that flutter noise and this allows you to use a much stiffer setting
