My buddy showed me a pic of the 2g throttle body and it measures at like 52cm in diamter and the 1g measures at like 60cm. Anyhow i was just wonderin if would see any gains by porting out mine to 57cm cause thats the most the faq i have sais it can be ported. Would it be worth my few hours you think?

Umm, no. You can't effectvely port a 2g throttlebody:
Without a lathe
Without buying and installing a bigger throttle plate
Without having it be a perfect circle to fit the throttle plate into (See lathe)
You could port around the plate, but that would be useless because the plate will still be the same size

Buy a 1G TB (not 90) as stated and port match it to your intake manifold.

You can port the intake mani without taking it off, but this is a stupid idea. To do this you will need to be VERY CAREFUL. Stuff a crapload of rags into it so no material can get by. Any little chunk of aluminum could be deadly to the engine. Suck it all up with a shopvac. Oh yea, BE VERY CAREFUL.

it took me about 20 minutes to port my 2g intake manifold with it on the car. just make sure you take the battery out, makes things alot easier. You can pick up a 1g throttle body for like 30 bucks about anywhere. It's a decent upgrade.
