Sorry for another post but I just cant find what im looking for in anyone elses. I have a 98 gsx and need some specs on exhuast systems. Any info you have on your exhaust or the one you wish you had :thumb: would be awsome.

I have been looking into gettting an exhaust for my car for sometime now and from what i have read and talked with people about. If your going to want a true 3in rnr has a great setup.

Check out the Thermal R&D catback. A friend of mine has one and it is really nice.

anyone have the apexi gt or know about it im liking the idea myself.

go custom or checkout apexi, cuase they just came out with a new exhuast system that has a sound valve in it , something along the lines of a cutout built into the muffler, really nice i seen it in some tuner mag a few days ago.

The Apexi GT SPEC is a really nice exhaust. A little pricey at 800.00 for the catback. The pipe diameter is also huge at 3.74 inches. In my opinion the cheapest and best way is to go custom and make your own if you are capable of doing so. Then you get to choose your own muffler and it can be as free flowing as you want or as restrictive as you want.

Go to this link. I bought this muffler, took it to a muffler shop, had them do mandrel bent, and $225 later i had a true 3 inch exhaust. The muffler was $70 shipped, and then $225. So for $295 i had me a nice exhaust system that looks just like the n1 except for half the price. The guy at the muffler shop also tapped the hole for the second o2 sensor. I am very sattistified. I think you should go this way and save yourself $300. If you buy the apexi your only paying for the brand name. Let me know what you guys think.

i just got a buschur 2.5 stainless mandrel bent catback for 299..... i'm gonna buy the downpipe soon though.
