thumps when shifting

well it started today after i got my car from the shop and after i put my strut bar. i drove to meet up with friends than came back but the minute i got home my car started to make a noise like a thump each time im in a lower gear or shifting gears .i looked under my car just a few minutes ago didnt find anything.

Sounds like a broken motor mount... Check your mounts and see if any are broken... Start it up and rev it a few times and see if the motor moves up a little bit as it should only move a inch or 2 not a foot... If you can't see it have someone look at the engine and put it in like 2nd gear and put some load on the engine and see if it jumps.... if nothing and it's not the motor mounts then I'm not to sure from their...
