My car came with the BOV already venting, and Im experiencing a reeeallllly bad idle problem. Basically it stalls at every stop (when you put the clutch in), after 5 minutes of running.

Could the venting of the BOV contribute to this problem? I heard some mention that you will run rich, and my DEFINATELY smells rich :barf: when it stalls.

What can I do to check if it is the problem?

If that isn't the problem it is certinately contributing to it. If you want to test if that is the problem then vent your BOV back into the intake.

I worked on anothere car with this exact same problem, I hook it back up properly and it fixed the problem. BOV's are not ment for noise and that is all you get by venting them so hook it back up properly.

I would also suggest you change your oil because it will be full of gas from running so rich all the time and a new set of plugs is probably a good idea as well. BPR7ES.

I did search, but no one had as bad as idle problems as mine. All theirs (although they were 2g) went down to 200 rpm. Mine just dies flat out. Sorry.
