I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the round dis behind the rotor is called. I don't have a picture, but its right behind the rotor, and its round with ridges. Whenever i turn right, it sounds like its gana fall off. Thanks
 
i have no idea what youre talking about....but im gonna go look at mine cuz when i turn right something on my car sounds like its gonna fall off too LOL

it sounds like your rotor is a cv joint... check in the useful hints thread... it tells about sounds when turning.

i havent had time to look at mine yet but my cv's only have about 100 miles on them so i know its not my problem....it could be the case with you though BigRb247, id check that if i were you.....I think im just SOLed
 
Having only 100 miles doesn't mean much.Did you replace the whole axles or did you replace just the CVs.
 
i drove a car a few months ago with a bad cv boot, whenever i turned, it sounded like the car was going to fall apart, and also...did you replace it yourself?? or have a shop do it?? previos car i owned, went thru 4 sets of axles before they finally got them right (warranty claim).
