what do people mean when they says the stock 2g mas is insufficient over 400 hp? Just not enough air can flow through? What exactly happens and why is this a problem? Is this 400 hp or 400 whp?

They mean that the sensor was not designed to calculate airflow beyond that point. It can still physically flow way more air than 400 whp may require, however the signal it will to the ECU won't be very helpful in determining how much fuel to send.

did he have to mess with the honey combs or the adjusting screw? I'd rather just leave that stuff alone ... but if need be I can play with it.
