I am looking to purchase a 1996 Mitsu GSX, i am going to check it out and my question is about crankwalk. I just want a simple answer (if thats possible) I heard if u pump the clutch when u take a left hand turn it might show if it has crankwalk, becuase the clutch will stick to the floor?

a) is it possible to kno if the car has had crankwalk?
b) is it possible to kno if the car will get crankwalk?
c) Someone jus please help , i am gonna sell my n/t to get a turbo n i wanna kno what to do

yes you are right. just take the car into a huge parking lot.. drive a bit.. push the clutch in and make a HARD left turn.. if it sticks then there is a problem..

This is the only true way to find out. However most people either do not have the guts to ask/measure the end play or the seller won't let you.
If they don't then don't get the car.... thats my moddo. I mean being honest when buying a car is best for everyone, if its walking then you and the seller with both now know and can better asses the negotiations.

yeah, try to see how much does the current owner knows about the car, ans try to get all the ifo you can about it... like they said, he should be a honest seller, and you both sould get to a good deal...!
