I just got the car running for the first time sense all the mods where done, but now I am having problems.

I am not getting any boost. The boost gauge goes to vac 25 to 0, but won't generate any boost. My turbo is spooling, I can hear it trying to push, but no boost. The car chokes really hard at 2500k plus, like when you try to vent to the atmosphere, but I am running a blow through setup.

I tried changing the way I had my boost controller, and BOV wired. If the spring is to tight on the BOV would it cause it not to create boost? Any ideas or helpfull hints to point me in the right direction would help.

the spring too tight wouldn't make it not boost. is your wastgate hooked up right? if it is hanging open a little, your exhaust will bypass the turbine and it won't boost.

Sounds like an IC pipe is disconnected.

Too tight of a bov would cause compressor surge.

I am going to break down the IC piping, and refit, tighten and try again. The wastegate was closed when I installed, and the external wastegate was mounted right. The vacuum line from the wastegate is going into the bottom nipple of the boost controller. It deff feels like a boost leak, rather than a wastegate issue, but I am not a DSM wiseman... I will post again tomorrow and let you guys know. Thanks for the help.

sorry mistyped on the external wastegate. I have internal wastegate, and an external actuator.

I checked all my IC pipes, and when the car is at idle I can't feel or see any leaks. The car does idle, but when I give it gas it chokes. I can "feather" the throttle up but still no boost. It goes from -25 vac to 0 but will not make any boost. If I put my foot down the car stalls and dies.

I disconnected the boost controller, running the line from the wastegate to the t-fitting with a line going to the BOV and intake manifold.

Should my BOV be open or closed at idle? Any other ideas besides IC pipes?
