I swapped to a 1G motor and have issues with a CEL of P0400. I know it deals with manifold vacuum. I still have the Manifold pressure sensor in plugged in, even though its attached to a vacuum line. Any options to get rid of the sensor, or other problems that can be causing this...

I've been wondering how to eliminate the sensor as well. How and where did you install it? Maybe theres a small leak?

I purchased a rubber coupler from Advanced Auto parts. You can find them in the same section with hose T's and caps. The coupler has an two openings. The first fits over the part of the sensor thats inserted into the manifold. The opening on the opposite side is large enough for a T. I then cut a vacuum line and inserted the barbed T ends on to the cut line. I generally dont get CEL unless I'm under 2000 rpm (parking lot cruising or heavy traffic). But I would love to do away with the sensor overall.
