Iridiums

Whats your opinion on iridium spark plugs? I'm running denso iridiums on my car and I'm jsut wondering if I just should have gon with the stock ngk replacements?

ngk 7's are the bomb dizzle for the dollar

I have NGK Iridiums on my car and my idle is smoother than the BPR6EKN's I used to have.

DONT USE THEM, ONCE THEY GET TOO HOT THEY BREAK SO EASY....MY BUDDY HAD THEM IN FOR A WEEK, ONCE BROKE AND CHIPPED THE PISTON. NGK ARE THEY WAY TO GO.

Iriduims aren't usually recommended for turbos, but -unlike platinums- I've not seen anyone say to _not_ use them.

Awfully expensive.

I've got the denso iridiums, I like them. I didn't notice much power increase over the bpr7es's I had, but the idle is about 100 times better with the iridiums.

Denso iridium plugs work fine for me.

My idle after highway driving = teh suck

One of mine broke as well. Granted I was running a little lean ... VERY little though .... and my cylinder 4 spark plug broke at the tip. Yea .. have to get it bored now to fix the scratches it left in the cylinder wall. Definitly not going with denso iridiums again.

OK thats it I dont care if I did get the Densos for free I'm not risking it...I'm goin back to BPR7ES' tomorrow....But just a note...My idle is smoother and I miss alot less up top with the Iridiums.

My idle was smoother with NGK Iridiums too-- I don't use them too much any more though since they're 6's.
