Well about a month ago the car got backed into and after insurance looked at it they decided to total it out. It already had a salvage title so I was just going to find another shell. I happened to find one and it looked pretty good from the pictures I saw. Well I gear up and drive 361 miles to get to this thing, to find a piece of junk thats honestly worse off than mine. So it really wasn't a good day. I ended up with a 770 mile round trip towing a dolly and spending $250 for absolutely nothing. I took this as a sign and have since decided to once again bring this car back from the dead. I ordered a new core support already so it should be here in a week or so.

Here is the car the day that I saved it.

And here is the car as she sits now.

250$ Might have bought the parts you need used. Ouch.

The same thing happened to me the last car I picked up. I decided to buy it so it wasn't a complete waste though. Turned out to be a money maker.

Good luck with the rebuild. Would love to see it fixed and repainted.

Sorry to hear the loss, but that's not too suprising that the insurance totaled your car for what little damage is there. It's just another older car to get off the streets in their eyes prob.
