This whole project started in February of 2008 when I decided to go against all odds and build a Fwd car. So I started to plan out what setup I wanted to do and what goals I wanted to achieve. I dont want a car that is just a dyno queen, I wanted something that could run down the track just like any Awd dsm. So the story begins.......
Heres what I started with, a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST. I have daily driven this car for almost 5 years now. I figured she has had enough abuse and she needs a little re freshening.
Current Mods:
7 Bolt 4g63 block bored .020 over
Stock rebuild with ARP head, rod, and main bolts…
Mitsu MLS Headgasket
Head was rebuilt with stock components
3g revised lifters
Stock clutch
Solid shift cable bushings
Prothane Motor Mounts
17x7 MSR wheels
Forced Performance Big 16g w/ 34mm flapper
Heavily ported stock 2g O2 housing
Newer OEM turbo bolts
2.5in – 3.0in SS Megan Racing Downpipe
3.0in SS Tsudo Cat back
In tank Wally 255hp Fuel Pump – Rewired directly to the battery
Aeromotive Fuel pressure regulator w/ ss return line
XS power FMIC w/ short route piping
1g Uncrushed bov
Ebay intake Pipe with cone filter
1g 63mm Throttle body built by Steve Monroe
Triple pillar gauge pod
Autometer phantom Boost Gauge
Short throw shifter
Greddy Counterweight knob
Energy Suspension shifter base bushings
97-99 Front bumper

This is what I have collected so far. Ive got a giant list of things I still need. Im ordering the clutch and tires this coming weekend and others to follow....
I will be doing many write ups as I tackle different areas of the car.
Next Step: Buy a daily driver

whats funny about this is i just did a light build to my 2g FWD...and I plan to do another more of a monster build...idk if im going to buy another dsm or the motor that I'm going to build, drop it in...
mine is more of a Arias pistons, Hbeams, arped out, type of motor. i want to do a 2g head ported, 2g intake mani ported, 272s and see where it gets me |

looking nice. id like to re-do my internals and all that before i get into heavy modifying. I havent quite set a goal yet, but ive got a wishlist...keep up the work and keep us posted
