So when I bought my TSi, it was sitting on Eibach Sportlines with KYB AGX shocks. The car was slammed more than my RS and that was pretty bad. Not a good match either. The shocks are waaay too soft to have the car that low to the ground.

So I started ordering parts back in December. Got a nice set of Eibach Pro Kits, Tokico HPs, the knuckle kits, rear toe control arms and since my RS has been totaled, I have the SPC upper control arms as well.

Installed the driver's front tonight. I would have liked to finish the front end, but doing work in gravel by yourself seems to make for a long job.

Going to see about doing the Passenger's front tomorrow night. Sunday I am off work and will see about doing tie rods and the rear shocks and toe control arms. I should be able to get the car in Monday to have it aligned.

If everything goes to plan, early next week I should be modifying my HKS exhaust to make it a true 3". I already have my RRE 3" long down pipe at home. Just need to pick up some stainless and go see my buddy Carver to do the install and modifications.

I'm also debating on whether I should try and get photos together of the old 95 knuckle and lower control arms and the updated knuckle and updated control arms.

If I do that, I may as well take photos of the rear suspension on an RS and compare it to the TSi. I know there are some control arms on the RS that are not boxed in like there are on the TSi.

Opinions welcomed.

You might have to cut the rear toe arms out if they are seized :/

Yea, I have parts off a parts car in case I need to cut the arms out. The bolts in the parts car are in good shape. I'm hoping it goes pretty well. I got all the ball joints swapped out on the front end tonight, new tie rods, shocks and struts have also been installed now as well.

The car feels much better already and I still need to do the rear end and get an alignment. Hopefully I will get everything done before the rain tomorrow. Then aligned first thing Monday morning.

So I was able to get everything installed on the car without a problem. I did the driver's front on Friday evening, the passenger front on Saturday evening and the rear of the car Sunday afternoon. I then took it Monday to have it aligned at Airline Auto Center here in town.

The car feels much better. I am much more confident in the car not stranding me somewhere now since I don't have to listen to the front end clunk and creak.
