Cheap Ebay Parts!

Yes, I'm using Ebay parts. Remember, this is a budget build! I picked up some Nippon pistons, ARP hardware and a cometic head gasket. The motor was dropped off at the machine shop, Jensen Auto Service here in Utah, a few weeks ago.

people sell brand name things on there. most of which they got on wholesale or major discounts. People flame anything from ebay because they are mad they paid full price for the same thing!!!

I have bought Ebay stuff for my Eclipse and my Evo....it is usually pretty decent stuff!!! I think others are afraid to try Ebay stuff so they shit on it right away. It has been more hit than miss for me personally...good luck!!!

eBay is also a popular place for brand name mfr's to dump defective lots etc. They sell it to grey market distributors, then it makes it's way to FleeBay. Be careful.

Ebay parts like you have are fine. I've been buying parts off ebay for years and have never had problems. Used parts off ebay I have had problems with but thats with any. Stay away from some SS autochrome stuff, some stuff is good other stuff is hit or miss.
On a side note: Just actually got a SARD fpr off ebay and the thing is awesome barb fittings are included. This takes away the need for expensive AN fittings ect. All and all a nice unit for 120 shipped. Cheaper alternative to Aeromotive which could cost over 200 with fittings ect. |

I may pay someone to finish my six bolt swap. Let me know how it turns out as I am looking for a good shop here in utah since I can't seem to find the time to work on it. Have you worked with them before?

Yeah, I've been using them for about 15 years for our Chevy and 4G63 motors.
