Serious Racer.

Posted 10-09-2007 at 10:25 AM by laserspeeddemon

Recently I have been flooding my mind with fantasy of Racing. Not street racing, competition track racing. Most of the time it has been thoughts of Rally Racing. Though I am also tempted by the high horsepower numbers from drag racing and the fun I had Road racing. I was on the fence. Well, just recently I found that there is a RallyX league her in DC. www.dcrally.com. I like to play dirty so this...

This past Sunday, I helped a follow DSMer replace his 1g BOV back (had a TurboXS vented) on his car as well as install a EVO III Exhaust Manifold and 02 housing. After we were done, I was allowed the honors of taking it on a test run. It has been a few years since, I've been in a DSM that was running really good. Boy, do I miss boost! The thrill of full throttle boost made me want to get my car running...

Posted 10-08-2007 at 08:15 PM by Locke (Locke's Nest)

About a week ago, she is driving on the bypass and the motor stops. Her father arrives to pick her up, turns the motor over a few times, and hears a noise. He tells her it is rod knock. Her father...

I'd like to say a big thanks to Chris, Erik, and the rest of the boys over at JNZ Tuning for coming on board for the forseeable future. I'll be putting one of their new Mishimoto performance radiator and fan kits through it's paces starting next season.

We were hoping to get some events in this season on the new radiator, but unfortunately their group buy went so well that they ended...

Updated 10-07-2007 at 10:58 PM by Locke (spelling, punctuation)

I have never seen a blog before in my life. If this is wrong, I don't care. It's my blog. Here goes, my very first ever blog entry.

Summary: An overly descriptive and poorly written vent about today's experience working on the doors of my vehicle that has no purpose, and should not be read.

Earlier today, I decided I would repair the driver-side door's...

T28 Plans

Well, now I'm just waiting on the shipment of my used FP T28. Guess I'll be buying the upgraded actuator as well. I'm guessing this thing will pull harder in higher RPMs, which makes me think the injectors are going to be unnecessarily pushed to their limits. I hope...
