Finallyyyy! My Car!!!!

Posted 06-14-2008 at 03:44 PM by Oblivion02
THis weekend, I finally got to drive my 1991 Eclipse GS-T! Feels great! Transmission shifts very smoothly, air conditioning is great, everything is looking pretty smooth. I got my car on Friday. That same night, when I turned it on after running it for a few hours, it started making a loud squeeeeeky sound... Pissed me off pretty bad, my Dad said it could have been a belt or something... but the noise...

Water/Alcohol Injection

I read an article today about Water/Alcohol Injection... I'm considering adding this to the TO-DO List, or FUTURE UPGRADE lists. It sounds great, but I'll have to continue doing some research on it. Would I still have to get a BIG IC? Or Just a stock IC (or slightly bigger) + Water/Alcohol Injection? Is it worth the money?

Finally, something good.

As you guys may have read in my other blog entry... My car, after everything was finally ready for me to get it, ended up having compression problems. In the machine shop, they told me the head was too grinded down, and that it wasn't worth the time or the money. They said they could do it, but that it was risky, and it'd cost over 250 dollars. Just as I was losing hope, I checked some local classifieds...

My car was finally comming out of the mechanic. Just when we were going to pick it up, the engine is having compression problems. We're taking it to a machine shop this week to see if they can fix this. I'll let you guys know how it went.
