Blog Title: 1998 AWD Spyder build
The car is a Monarch Green 1998 GST Spyder Auto.
I am doing a 5-speed swap along with the drivetrain swap. The car is going to be back in pristine condition.
I hope everyone will enjoy the progress I hope to make in the next month or so.

To be or not to be?

That is the question. I am trying to sell my GSX but I just KNOW I will want it back. I bought another eclipse b/c I was sad for parting out my RS-T. It needs a trans and a heater core. I have a DD now (learned my lesson) but I just can't decide whether or not to keep it. The car is really rare and in great condition I just can't stand the 2nd gear grind and the lack of heat can do it too.

Well...just from personal experience, I got an 03 evo roughly 2 years ago, and sold it about 6 months later so I could afford a job I wanted...not HAD to have. Since then I had always missed the pull, and the handling that the car provided...SO...about a year ago, I picked up a GSX and rebuilt it all...I built a fresh motor with a new head, head gasket, clutch/fw, newer 23 spline trans...the list goes on...but when I finally got it back together, I ran into one more problem on the never ending list and got so pissed I traded it to a friend the next day for a SOHC 1989 CLEAN 240sx. I regretted it every day until he offered to trade back...so long story short...I have it back, and you will regret selling it. I know I did man...but good luck with your decision, and sorry about my rant.Posted 06-13-2008 at 11:02 AM by schroder

Lol. It is cool man I love the feedback. I have been apart of the honda-tech.com community, the probetalk.com community, the 300zxclub.com community, but by far the dsmtuners.com community is the best. That alone makes me want to keep her.Posted 06-13-2008 at 08:54 PM by link16

I know how you feel man.
I got my first DSM 7 years ago, which was a 90 Talon TSi, then I sold it after about 2 years. I got a Honda next and had that about 1 year before I got bored with it and came back to the DSM world and got a 92 Talon Tsi AWD. I modded the crap out of it for the next two years, then blew a headgasket, fried my rings, and had to rebuild the motor. Then it started leaking oil.
Problem after problem started to arise, then decided to sell it. I got a MR2 Spyder after I sold it and drove that around for about 2 years. Now guess what? I'm BACK again! I Just bought a 97 Eclipse GST about a month ago. Everytime I leave this world/community, I end up coming back. No matter how much I hate these cars sometimes when they are down and out, I still love them deep down.
If you sell it you'll most likely return :PPosted 06-14-2008 at 07:13 AM by TalonTSiGuy

I bought an 04 Acura TSX. Like a navy blue w/ black leather interior! Sexy as hell, maybe you should look into something like that?
! Has the k24 in it, 200 hp vtec, can't really complain about the car!! It's nice as hell.. Of course I still have both my 95 GST and my 90 GSX.. I don't dare sell them.. unless I can get a MKIV Supra.. then it's all over for my DSM days...
! I keep trying to get the guy over here to sell me his US Spec N/T Supra.. I think I'll get through to him eventually.. One of these days
! But you'll be back if you decide to sell it, the only thing that could keep me away would be the Supra.. I've already had the chance to buy a Skyline R32 GTR and a R32 Skyline GTST and neither of them catch my eye much like the Supra... unfortunately
! Both of them were japanese spec (I'm in Germany at the moment) so it would be trouble to import them back to the states, maybe that was another reason I decided not to do it.. lol! If you do sell it you'll be back!! :O!Posted 06-16-2008 at 10:45 AM by Twistaye
