For the past two weeks, I have been retraining on my MOS (Military Job). Which is supposed to be computers. All we did is re-learn how to operate various radio and GPS units for the military.
Today I got orders. I am to report to Fort Lewis for onward deployment to Afghanistan. Mentally I am ready, but the training I recieved for the last 4 weeks has been poor at best.
To war I go!

I was in afghan about a year ago now for a year, its not as bad as people make it out. Bring at least a laptop to stir the boredom!

I served in Iraq for 2 tours, 1st time I was over there for 8 months, second time was 6 months. for sure bring a laptop. stay safe.
