Chassis Part 1: Volk TE37 Wheels
Posted 07-26-2008 at 11:43 PM by kwbunn
When people think of awesome wheels, a lot of people think of Volk TE37's. Well, I do, anyway. They're very light, well made, and damn pretty. I got bronze ones in 17x8 with a 38mm offset. I got a pretty good deal on them, too. Here's a couple pictures. I particularly like the sweet covers that come with them. You can see one of the covers on the wheel that's still in the box. That bronze color will look great with my car color - Monarch Green Pearl. Just look at 'em - they're pretty. Sorry for the blurry pics. I'll take better ones when the wheels are actually, you know, on the car.

I plan to wrap 245/40/17 rubber around them, probably BFG g-Force T/A KDW's. It'll be a while before I mount them, so I'll be still doing research on what tire to get. The deal was far too good to pass up, so I bought them early.

dont get the KDW's for the VOLK's!!! theyre not worthy. go toyo proxes t1r or bridgestone re01-r's. they are way better tires. and i am extremely jealous of these. i think ive been dreaming of these wheels for at least 5 or 6 years.

KDWs are most definitely not worthy. I've got some limited edition TE37s that were released a few years back and love them, I'm sure you will too. For street tires, might I recommend Michelin PS2s? They perform great, especially in the rain.
