RMSolo Autocross Event 7

Well today started out ugly it was rainy and cloudy, down right miserable for course walking. Then the wind came and blew the clouds away and it was a perfect day for racing. However I felt like I couldn't get grip anywhere on the course. My first run started out with a spectacular AWD Drift around a 180 sweeper. I know it must have looked good because another driver that was watching me came up to me as I got out of the car and just had the best I've seen in a while. Second run I went through the slalom thinking I hit every cone and actually hitting none, leading me to believe I nailed it! I DNF'd my third run and knew it before I was halfway through it so I waived to the corner captian calling it in as I went by. The last run went almost perfect I bumped the second to last cone on course and thought I blew it but later found out it moved but not outside of the cone box and therefore did not count, yay!

As of right now I am 82nd in the top 100 drivers, 21st overall for novice drivers and 7th in SM. I was shooting for 850 points and got 855, even though I thought I drove pretty bad today. Next month is the Colorado Regional Event, its a two day event in Denver (60mi away) We'll see if I can make it, hopefully on some race rubber!
