RMSolo Event 3 (my second autocross)

Well I was pretty nervious for this race because I put in EVO 560s the night before and we were putting manifold nuts and the boost controller in at 6 in the morning before leaving. But after all that the car was running the best it has in about six months! 
I ran the car on a nice conservative 15psi since the injectors still need a good tune but it ran very well. I improved almost one second each run ending with a 50.357. Once again I learned so much and I noticed I started to get my braking points right on the last run so thats a plus. There are 4 DSMs in street modified and we have a little friendly competition. This week only 3 of us showed up and I WON!!! I ran about 2 seconds faster than the GVR-4 and about 4 seconds faster than the 1G. So its a personal win.
Just a few side notes. Two other DSMers came with me but did not race. They had a blast and are looking into getting into autocross to so thats great to get a few more DSMs. Also our founder of DSMtuners, Ludachris, came out and watched us all run and that was a great bonus! I'm starting to think DSMs are making a come back in autocross!

Glad to see other DSMers thinking about getting into some AutoX action with you Jordan. Congrats also on the "personal" win over the other 2 DSMs that were there.
Tha was kewl of Chris to come out and check you guys out. Maybe your other 2 friends will get into the Autocross with you and get more interest in it for other DSMers to start heading out to tracks and other AutoX events. Nice job again Jordan. Keep it up man. Its all about seat time and trying to improve on something every time you go to an event and every run |

I had my first auto-x event this weekend as well. I'll be doing a write-up on it soon.
Hope you get out and do some more auto-x and track events. the more you go at it and get good, the more fun it becomes. |

Actually all you need is a tank of gas, the entry fee and prob a weekend SCCA membership. Its a blast no matter what car you bring.
