So i get everything together and the motor in the car. Ready to prime the motor. When i spin the oil pump sprocket the motor makes a gargling sound and no oil reaches the head. I have 5 qts. of oil in it, so i doubt its low. This scares me big time. Im not trying to spin a rod bearing on a 3,500 shortblock. Im going to pull the oil pan today and check everything out again.
