Well, I get this longblock that is or was told in good shape, put new seals/gaskets and im good till i get my other 95 block built.....

I start the teardown and order my gaskets, and bam, what do i find in the oil pan... Shavings of somekind, what ever it is no magnet will pick it up SO a tear down just like my 95 block, so what did i learn from this?? I should of stuck with building my 95 block lol

anywho... Now i have 2 blocks, 3 to 2g heads and a bunch of other stuff, t-stat housing, water pipes (2 2g's 1 n/a) so off to ebay some of this stuff goes.

now i got to get a micrometer, some plastigage and a dial gauge to check endplay and all that jaz , pay a shop to line hone, clean and junk for the block and find out if i can just put scat rods on new mitsu pistons, unless someone can give me a good set of forged as buying this Longblock has drained me.....

Make sure you get rods that will be press fit on the wristpin if your not using pistons that have C clips!
