Blog Title: Project Pile - 90 Talon Tsi AWD
Well here goes the start of another project... This time a 1990 Tsi AWD & My first DSM. I Paid $500 For it. Agood amount of money was dumped into the drive train. Eprom ECU with custom chip (plus two other chips with unknown profiles). 550cc injectors EVO III 6 bolt short block, tubular exhaust manifold (wrapped), 16G w/EVO III o2 housing, Megan downpipe.

Rebuilt 5 speed with replaced syncros & Quaife center diff. Light weight flywheel and performance clutch was told clutch is an ACT 6 Puck(didn't have receipt for it or flywheel) but boy does it grab.

Half of lower bumper cover missing and a couple of dents one crudely pulled out on drivers side rear corner. Interior was stripped down to bare minimum, all that is left is fronts seats, center console, dash and door panels. Inside looked like was used for trash can as two bags of trash removed.(found outer piece of spoiler among trash.)

Oh yea, can't forget the back yard 3inch downpipe back exhaust that previous owner attempted to make. They kinked the exhaust pipe to make bends rather than having it bent. I measured one kink in exhaust pipe to be slightly less than one inch . This Talons previous owner had the intentions of it being race car project that owner lost interest and no time or any more funds to work on the .

Now it's off to NH DMV to get temporary paper plate so I can get it out of Vermont legally with out attracting any extra unwanted attention. Also the thirty mile drive to my driveway will be a good shake down run. After a good once over check and a chase rig to follow me home. (The wife should be happy to see this in addition in the driveway. Expect a followed by & it will not be my new bedroom for a week or two.)

Goal for project weekend warrior / days off track toy daily driver if needed, with as little cash outlay as possible (aren't we all)
