A quick update from KBR shop

NSFAB Nick rejoicing haha

The head is basically stock with a nice valve job but trust me we'll still make power

Rich @ TEM Machine worked late every night to get this thing together in time for this weekend after we got the mega rush job custom pistons courtesy ROSS Pistons. So much win.

Is that a radiator hose I see by the radiator? Looks pretty cool. Where did you get it?

Good to see the car being put back together with the help of dedicated friends...Good stuff. Btw...don't forget about Murphy's law...i'm assuming there will be a cover on the cam gears/timing belt this time around.

yes there will be... it needs some more details. We have to make changes to the fuel rail to accomidate the cover as well as order a few additional dealer parts.

ok so Im pretty much beat up from work! not only I have other customer cars that needs to get done, but working at Drew's car and running the shop at the same time can sometimes be tiresome. but its all good coz we really need to get the Eclipse running before Monday.

anywayz, I wanna say HUGE THANKS to Rick Olivier of TEM Machine Shop in Napa, Ca. for hooking us up with the engine work and for ROSS pistons for the rush job on the custom pistons. also, huge thanks for Nick of NS Fab for the extra help on getting the car back together, specially when Im really busy at the shop for the whole straight week! like last week, I had to finish our Time Attack Supra turbo, then I had to transport it down to So Cal last wednesday to deliver it to the owner. then once I got back from slow cal, we had the motor for the Eclipse waiting to be finished by friday night. then we just dropped in the motor this afternoon. there was so much work in so little time but we managed to basically finish the swap. but it aint over yet! we got more work to do so stay tuned!

    aite, peace.

I wish I could afford all 4 wheels for this race, but I cannot. So the fronts and rears will be mismatched. Fronts will be CCW SP16R heres a pic of them on a BMW
    http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/h...i/100_0941.jpg

they will be 18x11.5 with 315/30/18 tires

Wow, coming together nicely. Glad to see that head is getting put to good use, and that headlight is awesome. Always wanted to make something like that for my car. Just lack the motivation ahhaha, rather sit around in my boxers.

Good God Drew! 315's on a FWD DSM??? Holy Shnikes!

Glad the car is back together! If you do need a spare 6-bolt 4G64 block, I am capable of getting one locally now, and will put it aside for you if you need it. Just shoot me a PM if so.

    Thanks, and good luck!!!
