Blog Title: My DSM cronical
Well I thought this would be cool to start as a daily record of what is going on with my car. I was'nt really sure about it until I had other members start asking me about mods I had previously done and realized you can't understand the future without first learning about the past.

I work on it just about everyday and have been really altering it to the point where it is no longer a daily driver anymore and just a "money pit" as my wife calls it. If she only knew..... My goal is a somewhat stock appearing/but you know its faster than stock look. I'm not fanatacial about this as you can tell by the 19" rims. I really don't care if there to heavy, I just like the way they look on the car.I just want a fun car that looks good and can scare the shit out of my neihbor with the Z06 vette.

I do almost all of my own fabrication work within reason just out of a sense of pride by doing it myself. So far I have tought myself how to do TIG/MIG welding on a novice scale and limit myself to parts that if they break will not cause my death or total destruction of the car. I also learned how to do Composite work on a novice scale also and plan on doing alot more. I've come to really enjoy making, and designing pieces for the car now.

So I would like to start out as to the current state of the car and go from there. I've gotten to the point were I don't like to leave anything the way it was designed to be and come up with these crazy ideas for parts while I dream at night about rainbows and teddy bears.

Crap gotta get ready for work finish this tonight.

Every time I take my front clip on and off it drives me nuts getting to the screws that hold it on. I was down to the four screws in each corner which were still driving me crazy. So I came up with this idea. Its now takes me about 10 minutes to which include the mud flaps, but no popping the side markers out anymore. I also installed Dusz fasteners on the mud flaps for fast removal. Oh and yeah I see that the one fasteners is crooked.

Jealous. I hate the front bumper with how annoying it is to remove. Even though it's still so much easier than my evo with having to remove its undertray first, I still hate it

I think I'll have a local shop do what you did next time they have the car. Thanks for sharing the idea!

That's really a good idea. I have to reinstalled my bumper very soon and hate the stock way. Always been a PITA. May do something similar to this. Thanks for sharing.
