Blog Title: My DSM cronical
Well I thought this would be cool to start as a daily record of what is going on with my car. I was'nt really sure about it until I had other members start asking me about mods I had previously done and realized you can't understand the future without first learning about the past.

I work on it just about everyday and have been really altering it to the point where it is no longer a daily driver anymore and just a "money pit" as my wife calls it. If she only knew..... My goal is a somewhat stock appearing/but you know its faster than stock look. I'm not fanatacial about this as you can tell by the 19" rims. I really don't care if there to heavy, I just like the way they look on the car.I just want a fun car that looks good and can scare the shit out of my neihbor with the Z06 vette.

I do almost all of my own fabrication work within reason just out of a sense of pride by doing it myself. So far I have tought myself how to do TIG/MIG welding on a novice scale and limit myself to parts that if they break will not cause my death or total destruction of the car. I also learned how to do Composite work on a novice scale also and plan on doing alot more. I've come to really enjoy making, and designing pieces for the car now.

So I would like to start out as to the current state of the car and go from there. I've gotten to the point were I don't like to leave anything the way it was designed to be and come up with these crazy ideas for parts while I dream at night about rainbows and teddy bears.

Crap gotta get ready for work finish this tonight.

Well it turned out good but not as good as I wanted. On tuesday morning I finished up with the hood pins and started installing the nose. I had some real fitment issues and after fighting with it for about an hour I realized that the air dam that I created was pushing the nose away from the car and not allowing me to bolt up the sides. So I had to trim about 1/2" off and was pissed if I had test fitted it before paint I would have realized this and fixed it then. It was perfect and now I have an area that I have to fix. So much for rushing. Yesterday I did'nt get jack done and got up early this morning, checked a few things out and crossed my fingers and drove for the first time in 3 years to work. It ran great and I still have to tune, but my laptop battery is dead and I can't do shit. Since moving the battery to the truck I cannot keep a charge so I have to figure that one out also.
